The biggest question in this stage...

I have so many drafts piling up on here. Random updates, thing's I'm thinking about, things that break my heart... So I am sorry I haven't put out an update in a while, because I just haven't written anything I can confidently press publish on in a little while. But I did want to give a financial update since you're all on the ride with us! The biggest question I get in this stage of the process is... how much do you have left to raise?! I want to laugh and cry when I answer. The truth is we have spent well over $25,000 so far of our saved, worked, lent and fundraised dollars in hosting fees and the adoption process. That is significant! That is a serious amount of cash. Like... WOW. How do people pay for colleges like that?! I have no idea. But to answer your question...

It's about $13,500. And that seems like a really big number. But it's half what we have already achieved! And I am so grateful for the things God has done in our lives and through all of you to bring us to this place. I think the right term of this place is... peace. We know He will provide every step. It's in the pudding. Every moment we are down to the wire, another donation comes in. So thank you, from the bottom of our hearts, for being the hands and feet in this boy's life. Literally. For those that love to look at numbers, here is what we have left on our plates:

To break it down, it's roughly $4,800 for our first trip possibly at the end of January, $15,000 for our second (month long) trip, and $4,000 to make him son to both of us. All of that minus the over $10,000 we already have or will have. We are $13,500 away from giving this boy HOME. If you feel so lead to share this, we would be honored. If you feel called to donate, you can make tax deductible donations at http://donate.bringvladhome.com. Thank you again for being on this road with us! We are so enjoying (gulp) the prospect of the ride being over, and hanging on for dear life! :)
